We believe that individuals have the power
to affect personal change, and our job is to assist them
with their goals. Our house is located in Delray Beach,
Florida and is within easy walking distance of the beach
and 12-step meetings.
Every attempt is made to accommodate individual needs and
match them with roommates with similar goals, interests,
and objectives. Our intent is to create and maintain a positive,
nurturing living environment that will maximize each resident’s
potential for continued recovery at an affordable rate.
Residents attend daily 12-step meetings and receive help
dealing with issues like relapse prevention and career development.
We assist residents in finding employment and provide referrals
to local therapists, medical doctors, and outpatient programs.
Our staff is readily available 24 hours a day.
Safety
The mission of The Hartman House is to provide a safe
environment, supportive of the needs of men in recovery.

Also, with the increased popularity and growth of the downtown
Delray Area, the City of Delray created a committee to deal
with the challenges of public safety, litter and trash control
and maintenance. The Clean & Safe Committee was created
in May of 2004. The goal of the committee is to ensure public
safety, improve lighting, improve quality of landscape maintenance
and cleanliness, improve the maintenance of streetscape
